Google, one of the important names in the technology world, continues to work on new features. This time, the company is preparing to make one of the most anticipated changes in the Android application. According to reports, the Google search bar will be changed in the Android application.
Google Search bar will now be at the bottom of the Android app!
Google , which has an important place among technology companies, is working on many innovations to improve user experience. One of these is the place of the Google Search bar, which most users have been waiting for a long time.
According to emerging news, Google is testing a new interface for its Android application. With this interface, the location of the main search bar on the screen changes. The company has enabled a flag that places the search bar at the bottom in the latest beta version of the Google app.
Screenshots also appeared with the updated interface. When we look at the screenshots, it is possible to see that the search bar is at the bottom. Menus such as filters, sections and account options also remain at the top of the screen. This just shows that the location of the search bar has changed.
Google offers the option to move the address bar down in Chrome for iOS , which increases the possibility of this design being made widely available in the Android application as well. We can say that Google is already late in this regard, especially since the search bars have been placed at the bottom lately.
This innovation of Google appeared in the 14.48.26.29.arm64 version of the Android application. However, it is not yet clear whether this change will be made available for wider use or whether it will only be a trial. Google tests interface changes before making them publicly available.
